Is sustainable air travel a realistic alternative?
As we become more interconnected and the demand for air travel grows, some start-ups and individuals are sampling ways to take to the skies without the need of fuel. Some hydrogen and small electrically powered prototype planes are already asking for certification in places. However questions still remain, can these sustainable ways of air travel truly make an impact? Can a transatlantic flight be completely powered by hydrogen? Will airlines eventually adopt these new ways of flying?
