Are humans really moving out of cities and into smaller more remote towns?
In light of the pandemic many people have decided to move out of the city to the country side, in search of a more peaceful, less hectic and some say healthier lifestyle. For the younger generation especially it can be more affordable to live outside the big cities and either commute in or simply work from home. If there is something that this pandemic has shown, it is that working remotely is definitely possible (albeit not for all jobs but for a great few).
All over the world schemes are beginning to emerge encouraging more and more young people to take a chance and start living the country lifestyle. As long as they have the internet what could go wrong? Is this the end of the city as we know it? Or is it merely a phase that will be a distant memory in the years to come?
